On the week of 3-9 I stayed with some family friends of ours: the MONSONS! We did everything from water parks to Five Guys; from watching Tanner at The Opening to playing lacrosse. I love the game of lacrosse now because of the Monsons. I am planning to join a team this year! Thank you, Monson family, for EVERYTHING! The hospitality, the money you spent on me, the amazing breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, and all your support! I love you guys!:)

The week of July 10-16 I relaxed at home, went to conditioning at the high school, got my ears pierced, went to the Harry Potter movie, watched Tanner dominate at his 7-on-7 passing tournament, and went to the Twilight Criterium bike race in downtown! Thank you Meredith and Zane for hanging out with me this weekend. :)

Clover Month = Performing Arts

Yes, it's true. I'm performing tonight, at Les Bois Junior High, in front of at least 500 people. Other choirs in the district will be there. No solos, no duets for me. (Only 5th and 6th get to. Pooey!)

And then, on Friday, the White Pine Elementary Timberwolf Choir (that's me, oh yeah) is going to the Idaho Power Conference Room to perform Japanese songs to about 50 people. I really don't know the songs, for I've only practiced them once. I'm a lazy pig, aren't I? I've missed choir a lot! Well, I'll be sure to make it on Wednesday and I'll practice.

AND THEN, instead of performing, I will be WATCHING a performance: Les Miserables, at Timberline High School, on Saturday night. A story of kids who get way too much homework, their parents abuse them, (really?) and their lives are ruined. Doesn't sound too interesting, huh? Well, there are some high schoolers out there who are AMAZING! They will for sure make the show interesting. You can buy tickets at Timberline High School. Shows are on Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Show starts at seven o' clock each night, and there will be a dinner before. Sorry if I'm acting as if I'm advertising, I'm just trying to inform.

So, the month of the clover includes Arts (as in dancing and singing). Do the Irish Jig, men and women! Roll in a pile of clovers! (Here's a trick. Find a three-leaf clover, pick a leaf off of another clover, and hold it in place with your thumb. Your thumb will be in the center of the clover. Show it to your family! They might actually believe you found one.) Happy Green Month!

On the Road to Fame

I've been writing stories since I was in second grade now, and I still haven't finished one single story. I was writing a story on my dad's computer and I stopped when I got my NEW laptop. I might as well ask my dad to send it to me...(or dare I say, "Gimme it, dad!" No, I won't do that.)

But when I do finish a story, I will send it in to a publishing company (I look at the publishing companies the good authors use) and hopefully they will publish it.

I need an agent, though! Who could be my agent? Well, my friend Olivia loves to write stories (she even has a series called Button!). She's very imaginable (she has a bigger imagination than I do!). I think she'd make the perfect agent. I'll ask her tomorrow.

And now, all I need to do is write up a 50,000 chapter story! No, just kidding. Probably just a 10-chapter story. But now it's poll time!

Question: If you had to write a story to share to the class, what kind would you write?

a. fictional
b. non-fictional
c. historic fiction
d. fantasy (which is pretty much fictional, but just go with it)
