For the past three months, I've been having a situation with an old friend. After coming back from Christmas Break, this friend said we did something we didn't do, which cause a problem. We've been rivals ever since, but rival isn't the best word.
We were done with the teasing and the name-calling, so my friends and I asked to see the counselor, Mrs. Lileks. We went in at 3:00 today, 15 minutes before school got out. Mrs. Lileks let us in, and we sat at a round table with just enough chairs for each person to sit in. We told her everything that happened from January to April. The names. The spying. The copying. The frustration in all of us. We got it all out of our systems. Mrs. Lileks is going to get this girl's side of the story tomorrow, and then we the friends will come back in to clean things up, and see if this whole disagreement was a misunderstanding. We HAD to get it out of us. This was going too far.
And now it's April, the month of silliness, religion, and rainshowers. April Fools' Day, which was yesterday, was silliness. Easter, which is in a week or so, is religion (for it's celebrating Jesus' birth and resurrection. For those who don't know what resurrection is, go to http://www.google.com/). And for the whole month is rainshowers. I love rain.
I lost yet another tooth yesterday: my 11th tooth. It wasn't all that painful: just a bite on a raw spaghetti and out it went.
Have a happy April!!!
