Do You Remember...

"If you carry your childhood with you, you will never grow older."
-Tom Stoppard
Do you remember when there was never a worry in the world? When your job was to have fun? When drama wasn't a word? When school was never frustrating and difficult? When Earth was just a giant playground? Those are the days of a good childhood.

Being young is probably the greatest feeling. You can do things people older than you can't. You have the ability to do practically everything you want. You have the advantage of not worrying about anything but what you're going to do that day.

There is a downside to being youthful, though: You don't understand what lies in the real world out there. Young ones don't expect unwanted visitors, (Example: murderers) for they don't know those kind of people exist. The strange things they see in their dreams can be frightening to them, like all normality just went bizarre. Sometimes they don't even know that guns are for killing things and people.

With this in mind, parents come in the picture. Toddlers sometimes don't realize that parents are there to protect them from any danger. All they know is that they make their food and keep them company. Even though it doesn't look like a big job for parents, it truly is. Balancing the real world with a curious baby is almost impossible.

And although being young again sounds exciting, being aware of your surroundings (in other words, being older) is extremely helpful.

I make my point.

Ah, my baby sister, what a great post.

Do I dare say that at eleven, your childhood should still be this way? Youthful without a worry in the world? Yes, I will dare to say it. :)

I am coming home tomorrow my little lovely... let's have some fun tomorrow night!!!

Oh. Abby,Abby, Abby. It's not the same as 4th grade huh? It's almost as if this world was unknown, unthought, incapable of happening. How is it, that in a year things have changed completely? I wish things were all back to normal.
