Here it Comes

Well, today marks the Saturday before I start a new school. It is approaching so fast, I can't even believe it. What happened to the slow days? Since when were fast days so common? To me, life seems to fly by you like a jet.

This Spring Break has been a fun one. Monday I didn't do much, but on Tuesday I got to meet a new friend here in Eagle. Her name is Allie Callister, and she is really nice. I enjoyed going over to her house. We played Wii Sports, dyed Easter eggs, went to the church to just run freely, and we played a classic with Allie's older sister, Courtney, and her friends: Apples to Apples. We played for at least an hour, and then we headed on out to the backyard. It's a huge property with lots of land.

Wednesday was Mother/Daughter day. Along with my brother Tanner, we went to the mall and bought some new church skirts for me from the amazing Downeast Basics, and Tanner got some sweet new shoes from Finish Line. After that we picked up one of my best friends named Journey and went to see Alice in Wonderland in 3D! We all noticed that the movie relates a ton to the gospel.

  1. The Red Queen is like Satan and the White Queen is like Heavenly Father.
  2. Satan was the older brother of the two, and the Red Queen was the older sister of the two.
  3. The Madhatter is like Jesus because he sacrificed for Alice, just like Jesus sacrificed for us.
  4. Alice represents us.
  5. The disappearing cat is like the Holy Ghost; he is wise and you can't see him.
  6. It was a pretty dang good movie. :)

It was very fun to watch. Then Journey spent the night at my house, and the next day we dropped Journey off at her house, and then went to Sun Valley! We went skiing all day, and then we had a snowy ride home. At least five people slid off the road because of the conditions. We were lucky we didn't slide off.

Today we are watching General Conference; you can watch it on http://www.lds.org/. Hope you had an awesome Spring Break!
