Autographs, Anyone?

Hello again, readers. On behalf of my last post; my sister made me feel a little embarassed after talking to me about boys in my class on my post. She laughed, I did a fake smile, and that was that. At this time of year, the leaves change from green to yellow, orange, and red. Today, after my brother's football game (which they won) we drove by some bright red trees. Anyone would be able to see them; even blind people! That's how bright a red those trees were. In autumn, you also start wearing warm clothes (but in the morning, I have to wear like a sweatshirt and ski coat to be able to walk to school without freezing to death). On a website, there was a poll. The question was: What's your favorite part of autumn? The three choices were: 1. School starts 2. Changing of leaves 3. Warm clothing. I chose 2. Changing of leaves. When I pressed the Submit button, it said: 4% School starts 49% Changing of leaves 36% Warm clothing. Changing of leaves won!!! Anyway, I bet you're wondering what the point of my title is. The thing is, autumn is also a part of the year where me and my siblings become famous!!! Madison and Tanner, my older brothers, are famous in Timberline High School football. I'm famous in volleyball! In fact, today were my last games. My team and I had a tournament and we had to play 4 games! We did well in the second period of the first game. We did OK in the second game. In the third game, (no offense, my team) we were terrible! In the last game, we did better than the third. MUCH better, actually. Anyway, lots of people got to know my sport and they started cheering for me. OH, (ha ha ha), on the last game, when I served the ball, it landed in the basketball hoop! "Wrong sport, Abby!" my dad laughed when he heard the news. Everyone had laughed when I made the hoop. My coach was all, "Three points! Hurray!" She said her words sarcastically (of course). It was fun. In the football game, my Timberline beat Boise High School by 11 points. The score ended up being: Boise High, 20, Timberline, 31. It was an intense game (like all football games are). My grandparents came here all the way from Utah just to see my brothers play (my mom said that my grandparents wouldn't be able to go to my tournament because they wouldn't be here in time to see it. Pooey). Anyway, if you'd like an autograph from me, leave a comment on here and I'll send you my autograph!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. That picture is a picture of my brother, Madison. Tanner isn't in it because this is football from last year and 2008 is Tanner's first year of high school football so yeah... Anyway, do you see Madison? He's #4!!!

St. George On the List of Traveling!

Hello again, readers. Last weekend my family and I went to St. George, Utah. We stayed at my brother's girlfriend's house. The house is absolutely amazing. We went to St. George for one reason and one reason only. It was for the marathon my mom and my sister were going to run! Dramatically: In St. George, on this very day of October 4th, 7,000+ runners are running 26 miles!!! But look, oh, here come my beloved family members! Meredith Mangum and Karen Mangum! Normally: Ok, we're done with drama! Too much to take! Anyway, on mile 25, I ran right next to my big sister and my mom. Their spirits were high when I ran on the track even though I wasn't competing in the race! But (unfortunately) I was cast off-track by a stubborn police officer (curse him)! Anyway, I made a new friend! She's 13 years old. She's awesome! We have so much in common; it makes me feel like we're sisters! We had so much fun together. We played Uno with her mom (Carrie). We also played Apples to Apples. We also made ice cream treats! They were good! I poured Cookies n' Cream ice cream onto the counter and then sliced Twix bars and a 3 Musketeers bar and put them into the ice cream. I mixed everything up with a spoon and we poured it all in a bowl. Then we put the bowls in the freezer to freeze. After about 20 minutes, Sarah (my new friend) and I looked in the freezer and saw our delicious treats! Mmm, they were luscious! I love St. George. My mom and I want to go back to visit them because my mom has a lot in common with Sarah's mom. My brother's girlfriend's name is Lizzy Henderson. I want to go back so bad!

Sunday: Church, Scouting, etc.

Today was Sunday, September 28th. Everything is fabulous when it comes to Sunday. First, we went to church. Then, we relaxed and had a wonderful afternoon lunch with each member of the family. I had sit in a small chair in the corner of the table because my older brother, Parker, came to visit my family. He lives and goes to college in Provo, Utah. After lunch, we got back into our nice church clothes and drove to our church. My brothers got their Eagle Scout Award. It was from the Boy Scouts of America. My brothers, Tanner and Madison, got personal letters from the mayor of New York, the mayor of Idaho, American Canidate (I think), and from President George W. Bush. I freaked out when the speaker announced that George W. Bush sent my brothers a letter! After the Court of Honor, we all went into my church's gym for refreshments (the proper way to say "food and drink"). Now I just got home from the meeting and so now I'm blogging my head off! Before I started blogging my head off, Parker started driving back to Utah. :( Well, it was fun while it lasted. So see y'all next time (which is more likely to be tomorrow)!
P.S. I know I look weird in those white clothes, but they were to be worn for my baptism. You see, my brother Madison baptized me when I was eight years old. We had to walk in water and I had to be pushed underwater so all my sins (mistakes) could be washed away. It was joyous moment.

Siblings

Hi again, readers. Today I would just like to talk about my three brothers and my one sister. They're annoying sometimes, but they're mostly made of fun! The oldest brother is Parker, 23, Meredith, 21, Madison, 17, and Tanner, 15. Tonight I went to Tanner and Madison's football game. We were against a high school called Borah. They won, though. :( The score was Timberline High School (my brothers' team), 34, Borah High School, 38. It was a really close game. Borah made a last minute touchdown and we thought we were doomed. And we were. My mom is one of the big supporters. She almost cried when we had a bad play. I got kind of annoyed by that, but I lived. Anyway, brothers and sisters can be annoying, but they can be fun in some way.

The Crazy Schedule of Abby

Everything's been crazy lately! Planning, practicing, working...it's just too hard to manage! Here's my busy schedule:

Mondays: Wake up early, choir, school, homework, walking a dog and that's it for Monday!
Tuesdays: Wake up, school, homework, walk a dog, volleyball and that's it for Tuesday!
Wednsdays: Wake up early, choir, school, homework, walk two dogs, volleyball games (I think) and that's it for Wednsday!
Thursdays: Wake up, school, homework, dance class and that's it for Thursday!
Fridays: Wake up, school, homework, walk a dog, going to my brothers' football game and that's it for Friday!
If you live in Boise, Idaho you probably know my famous brothers. Their names are Tanner Mangum, 15 yrs. old and Madison Mangum, 17 yrs. old. Tanner is in ninth grade and he plays on a varsity high school football team as a Quarterback! Tanner's only in junior high!
My schedule may not be as busy as it seems, but it feels busy for me!
