A Hobby of Yours

Day 20

What I like to do in my spare time is write. I write down my thoughts in a special journal, I write down ideas for chapter books in a notebook, I write the final copy of a story on Microsoft Word, and I even write on a blog as a form of writing (obviously). And I love doing it.

Some people may be mathematicians, others may be scientists. But for me, it's all about writing. It's all about the punctuation, the amount of power a sentence shoots at someone, the action of the story, the plot, the details, the characters, the setting. It's all about what you are feeling inside as you write the story. Which is why I live to write, to show passion, to express feeling.

I feel that I have a good shot at becoming a great author as I grow older. I want to write inspiring children's books. I will be selfish this paragraph and say "I" at the beginning of every sentence. I have a strong feeling inside that I can be a great author.

I really can.
